GMG Joins Forces with Amazon to Transform Online Shopping in MENA

GMG has entered a major partnership with Amazon to enhance online retail across the Middle East and North Africa. The collaboration will bring faster delivery and competitive pricing across GMG’s main categories, including Sports, Health & Beauty, and Everyday Goods, while expanding access to its portfolio of globally recognised brands.

The agreement will support GMG’s digital growth by integrating Amazon’s AI, logistics, and customer service capabilities, combining its strong physical presence with a more seamless online experience. Products will be gradually made available on Amazon.ae, Amazon.sa, and Amazon.eg to ensure smooth rollout for shoppers across the region.

Mohammad A. Baker, GMG’s Deputy Chairman and CEO, said the partnership represents a pivotal step in the company’s ecommerce strategy, highlighting the importance of speed, technology, and relevance for consumers. Ronaldo Mouchawar, Vice President of Amazon Middle East, Africa and Turkey, noted the shared goal of making it easier for customers to access popular brands and enjoy a reliable shopping experience.

With more than 650 GMG Sports outlets, 60 Everyday Goods stores and 105 Health & Beauty locations, the partnership reflects GMG’s ongoing mission to make wellness and lifestyle products more accessible while enhancing the online shopping landscape in MENA.
