Restrictions on some other key sectors such as retail, hospitality and aviation have already been eased to some extent.
The UAE is among the safest countries in the world for Covid-19, according to a 250-page report by the Deep Knowledge Group, a consortium of commercial and non-profit organisations.
It lists 100 countries based on various factors including quarantine and government efficiency, as well as monitoring, detection and health readiness.
The UAE ranks number 11 behind New Zealand and South Korea but ahead of Canada and Hong Kong. Neighboring Saudi Arabia ranks number 15 on the list, followed by Kuwait at 21, Bahrain at 23 and Oman at 33.
Switzerland and Germany are the first and second safest countries respectively, according to the report, particularly because of their economies' resilience. They are followed by the likes of Singapore, Japan, Austria, China and Australia.
The United States ranks number 58 behind Romania and ahead of Russia.
The highest-risk regions are Sub-Saharan Africa and South America, while Cambodia, Laos and the Bahamas are considered the three most dangerous countries respectively for Covid-19.
