Ing. Daniel Gómez Alvarez is managing director of PAVIS Engineering GmbH sister company in Spain. He studied Electronics Engineering at Valladolid University and has a master’s in business intelligence and Big Data.
Since beginning of his carrier, he has been involved in automation projects across different industries. He has been part of technological development of the IO-Link fieldbus products and actively involved in MTP standardization since 2023.
His personal ambition is to drive the future process industries by approaching modular process plants design with the vendor-independent Module Type Package (MTP). As an enabler for cost-efficient implementations, data-driven industrial control systems, and flexible production.
