LuLu Group has continued its expansion into smaller communities across the UAE with the opening of a new Xpress-format store at Ghalilah Mall in Ras Al Khaimah. Positioned near the UAE–Oman border, the outlet is intended to improve access to groceries and everyday essentials for residents and cross-border travellers.

The store covers roughly 19,200 square feet and offers a broad assortment of products, including fresh produce, bakery goods, meat and seafood, household items and personal care products. Seasonal merchandise and promotional offerings linked to Ramadan are also featured. The location incorporates self-checkout facilities and dedicated parking to enhance convenience.

The opening forms part of LuLu’s wider strategy to grow its presence beyond major urban centres. Recent additions in areas such as Al Dhafra, Khorfakkan and Kalba reflect the retailer’s focus on bringing modern retail formats to underserved towns and regional communities.

Alongside expansion, the group has confirmed measures aimed at supporting consumers during Ramadan, including price stability across essential goods and promotional campaigns offering discounts on key items. Its global sourcing network, spanning offices in more than 20 countries, supports supply continuity for staple foods and fresh products during peak demand periods.

The latest store launch highlights LuLu’s continued investment in regional accessibility, positioning neighbourhood-focused retail formats as a key pillar of its UAE growth strategy.
