LIFCO originated from the vision of Mr Mohamed Salim Hassan
in Venezuela in the early 1950s, by setting up an organization to
import and trade traditional preserves and essential commodities
to GCC which was the first of its kind. This enhanced LIFCO’s
prominence globally,and swiftly became near and dear in the
consumer’s heart.
LIFCO started in the UAE in the early 1970s as a pioneer in retail.
It didn’t take long for LIFCO to set its sights on becoming one of
the most professional and efficient distributions and marketing
operations in the region for multinational brands. With complete
dedication and commitment, today Lifco extended its
vision to become one of the leading food producers and distributors in GCC region with annual turnover around 600 million USD.
