Green Plant is a producer of 100% natural tea under the ASTARAÇAY and AzTea brands. Founded in 2012, the company grows tea on 450 hectares of its own plantations in the subtropical Astara and Lankaran regions in southern Azerbaijan. No chemical additives are used, ensuring ecologically clean and sustainable production.
In 2015, Green Plant launched a modern tea processing and packaging facility with the capacity to handle 10 tons of green tea leaves per day. The full production cycle from harvesting to packaging-is managed in-house under strict quality and food safety standards.
The plantations were monitored for four years by the German certification body LACON, confirming their environmental sustainability. Production is carried out in a certified facility that meets TS EN ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 22000:2018 standards.
By combining traditional tea-growing heritage with modern technologies, Green Plant supplies aromatic, high-quality tea to domestic and international markets.
